It was one of those products that I thought were too good to be true.

The Test

My wifes 2015 Honda Civic had been unwashed and unwaxed for about a year. It was hit by all of our harsh weather up here in the North East and needed a serious detail. Fortify Quick Coat claimed to work on all types of surfaces so below I lay out for you how it all went!

The Civic was covered in dirt, grime, and road slush, so I was hesitant to use some soap and water first. But, for a true test I wanted to give it a real waterless wash.

The results were spectacular

5 minutes In:

I waterless washed the entire car. I followed the directions and took a damp microfiber towel to the spots that I applied a 3 x 3 spray to. Fortify Quick Coat was eating through everything on the surface. I was left with a super clean paint job and no scratches.

10 minutes In:

I went back over the car to give it a real nice shine. I was blown away to see my paint bring out a shine like the day my wife drove her Civic off the lot. It was really starting to look showroom ready!

15 minutes In:

The car was basically fully detailed. The surface was spotless, and there was a super deep mirror like shine. So I brought out the hose and did a nice water test. Everythingbeaded right off, including the windows!.
